A large detached villa in the middle of the “Green Heart” region: Surrounded by greenery, water and reeds, this villa is very much in tune with its rural surroundings, as it is not only completely oriented towards this landscape but also introduces a modest and “friendly” sized volume into that landscape. The building is also finished off in brass, a metal which changes in colour over time from gold to brown, thereby reflecting the colours of the reeds and the garden. On some sections of the roof, the brass is replaced by vegetation.
The floor plan is spacious, open and flexible. The structure itself is independent of the interior layout, which means that changes can easily and quickly be implemented in the future. Various future options have been taken into account, including the possibility of working at home, quarters for extended family members, home care, and even letting out part of the villa as a separate residence
