Abbink X De Haas architectures provided the teachers of ARCAM (Architecture Centre of Amsterdam) with a course about architectural learning methods and developed new educational material for the students of the new \'\'Look at your Neighbourhood\'\' Program. New West is the first neighbourhood that ARCAM is giving this course to. The neighbouhood is undergoing major urban changes: what do the pupils think about this? What makes them feel at home in their neighbourhood? What kind of changes would they make? Pupils of all levels are challenged to rethink their neighbourhood and realize their new ideas in the form of models. The successful program will be extended to Amsterdam North in 2011.
